Three climbers have died in the last four days while attempting to climb the world’s highest mountain – Mount Everest.

The latest death was an Indian man who died while Sherpa guides were helping him descend.

Two other Indian climbers who were with the man are missing in the so-called “death zone” near the summit.

Earlier in the week an Australian couple suffered altitude sickness. The woman died, while the man has been flown to the Nepal’s capital Kathmandu. He is in a critical condition.

Kiwi heavyweight boxer Joseph Parker has beaten Carlos Takam in an unanimous points decision after 12 rounds.

Parker had to work hard for the victory against a very experienced opponent. He won the boxing fight by unanimous points: 116-112, 116-112, 115-113.

Parker wore the experienced fighter down and used his punching speed to slowly overcome his difficult opponent.

The result means that Parker will now get to fight Britain’s Anthony Joshua. He is the current IBF heavyweight world champion.

The win extends Parker’s professional record to 19 wins, no losses. Sixteen of those wins coming by knockout.
